insecure-file-service
Short description
IFS is an ephemeral file-sharing service for quickly sending files to public/shared machines without logging into email or copying long URLs. Upload a file, receive a 4-character code, and share it. Infrastructure is managed almost entirely with IaC and is intended to be educational for new programmers.

Additional comments
This project is built and deployed almost entirely using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to keep the setup reproducible and to serve as an educational reference for newer programmers learning how practical IaC can be.
Primary use case: transferring a file to a public/shared machine quickly without needing to sign into email accounts or deal with long, hard-to-type URLs - just a short code and a 24-hour auto-expiring file.
Planned features include e2e encryption (secret-file-service incoming!), custom prefixes, and many others!
I’m applying because friends have shown interest in contributing to these features, and a shared 1Password Teams vault would help us securely collaborate on API keys and infrastructure secrets (AWS, Cloudflare, CI/CD).
