New Option: No "Text2Speak" Generation for Drafts

Hey, one of our clients uses your Plugin and does "Sponsored Posts". In that workflow, they make numerous text changes and update Drafts. The Problem is that with Public Post Preview, the clients see that post with the wrong Audio. I would like to have an option inside the main settings to turn off audio generation in drafts. This way, the team can write their posts without worrying about audio, and then add it after the post is complete (and published). We encountered issues after approximately five rounds of text changes, specifically that the Audio file was empty. So, I deleted all the audio generated by the Plugin and started generating new audio. That was "maybe" the fix. But in terms of Space and workflow, my ideal option would be nice. Thank you

Thanks for the suggestion. We do have a few Features that have settings in place to allow you to choose the post statuses that the Feature will run under so I could see the case of adding that for the Text to Speech Feature.

As a more immediate fix for you issue, what I would recommend is turning off the generation of speech and only turning it on when you're ready. Right now, there should be a toggle in the sidebar of the "Sponsored Post" that controls whether the speech is added or not:

If you keep that toggled off while you're drafting changes and then only toggle it on when you're ready to publish, I think that solves the issue for you, though I do realize it's not ideal to have to remember to toggle that on and off.

I'd also suggest utilizing a filter we have, classifai_audio_generation_initial_state, that allows you to control the default state of that toggle. By default it is always on but if you return false in that filter, the state will be off by default:

Once that's done, you'd just need to remember to toggle that back on prior to publish.
